The unique ‘Anzer Honey‘, which enriched the tables of the Ottoman palaces in history, has been healed for centuries, even now it is sent to different countries.
‘Anzer Honey’ where local and foreign biologists wonder and research the local flora and prepare doctoral theses; Its quality has also been registered at Hacettepe University and German Laboratories
Beekeeping starts at the end of September according to the weather conditions in Anzer’s untouched highlands at two to three thousand meters altitude. The collection of the product obtained, the analysis and the safe presentation of it are provided through bee cooperatives.
The pollen of the Anzer Plateau in the local flora of the endemic flowers and thousands of flowers, which are stuck on the feet of bees to collect nectar, is as beneficial as honey.
